FAQs

We know that deciding on a service can feel nerve-racking, and you probably have tons of questions running through your mind. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Here are the frequently asked questions to help put your mind at ease:

Does it hurt?

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients say the discomfort is minimal to mild! On a scale of 1-10, the pain level is typically between 1-2. I use Zensa, a high-quality numbing cream before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable.

Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching during the first pass. After I apply additional numbing, about 90% of my clients end up falling asleep (unless they snore themselves awake or I wake them up to check symmetry and ink implantation).

So, rest assured—it’s a relaxed experience with minimal discomfort!

If I have previous brow permanent makeup (non-virgin brows), can I book?

Short answer yes and no.

Yes: If your previous PMU has faded enough (at least 70% faded), we may be able to work over it. Previously tattooed eyebrows must submit photo for approval prior to booking.

No: If the pigment is still too saturated, looks like a tattoo, a natural result isn’t possible. We highly recommend receving tattoo removal to remove the old pigment and start fresh.

Important: If you have an existing brow tattoo from another artist (no matter how long ago it was done), please send a photo of your brows with no brow makeup, in good lighting, and include your name to sukistudiony@gmail.com to ensure we can work on them. Failure to send photos for approval may result in the forfeiture of your booking deposit.

Please note: If you book an appointment without sending photos for approval, your appointment will be canceled, and your deposit will not be refunded. If you send photos after booking and I can’t correct or cover up your previous work, your deposit will be forfeited.

Can I get my brows done if I’m pregnant or nursing?

For the safety of both you and your baby, we cannot perform brow procedures on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to potential risks and complications.

We recommend waiting 3-4 months after finishing breastfeeding before getting your brows done. This allows your body time to regulate hormones, ensuring the best results. We promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Do I need a touch-up after my first session?

Yes, it’s essential! Permanent makeup is a TWO-STEP process, and completing both appointments is crucial for customized, long-lasting results. Your touch-up, recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial session, ensures that any missing strokes, length adjustments, or color enhancements are done perfectly. Skipping it may lead to fading or less definition, so don’t miss this important step!

Is it okay to wear makeup to my appointment and afterward?

Before the appointment:
Sure, it's totally fine! It helps me understand your style and how dark you like your brows. However, keep in mind that you might want to bring your foundation and concealer with you for a flawless finish after the appointment, as we’ll be cleaning the brow and forehead areas during the procedure.

After the appointment:
For two weeks, avoid applying makeup directly on your brows, including foundation or concealer near the area. This allows the pigment to settle properly into the skin.

Pro tip: Bring a selfie or a picture of how you typically do your brows (or how you want them to look) to help us design the perfect shape for your face. Avoid celebrity pictures, since they may not match your facial features or lifestyle.
